FAQs

  • Pilates is a full-body movement method focused on strength, flexibility, posture, and alignment. It’s low-impact and emphasizes core stability, controlled movement, and body awareness.

  • No prior experience is necessary. We welcome all levels and customize sessions based on your goals and experience.

  • Wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes and grip socks for safety. If you do not have grip socks, you may participate barefoot. Regular socks are not permitted due to safety concerns.

  • Private sessions are one-on-one and fully tailored to your needs. Equipment classes are small group sessions using Pilates apparatus like the Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, and Spine Corrector. You may use one or multiple pieces of equipment in each class, depending on the instructor’s discretion.

  • We recommend 2–3 times per week for noticeable improvements in strength, posture, flexibility, and overall well-being.

  • Yes! Pilates is designed to improve posture, core strength, and functional movement. Many clients experience relief from back pain and improved mobility with consistent practice.

  • We use professional Balanced Body equipment, including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, and Spine Corrector.

  • All clients are required to complete ten Level 1 classes to ensure they develop proper form, alignment, and foundational strength. We prioritize quality of movement over speed, and focus on educating you through intentional exercises that build stability, confidence, and body awareness.
